Twisted Pair Cabling:

Pair of copper wires twisted around each other to reduce interference. The standard way to connect individual voice telephones. Widely used for other low-speed communications.

Coaxial Cabling:

Coaxial cable is an electrical cable consisting of an inner conductor surrounded by an insulating spacer, surrounded by an outer cylindrical conductor. The term coaxial comes from the inner conductor and the outer shield sharing the same geometric axis. Coaxial cables are often used as a transmission line for radio frequency signals.


Fibre-Optic Cabling:

A package for an optical fibre or fibres that may include cladding, buffering, strength members and an outer jacket. Fibre optic cable functions as a "light guide" guiding the light introduced at one end of the cable through to the other end. The light source can either be a light-emitting diode (LED) or a laser.
